Barriers to Learning
Are teaching and assessment methods and materials evaluated for barriers to learning for diverse groups?

The key thing to remember here is that it is good practice to regularly reflect on your teaching and assessment practices and to consider strategies for overcoming any potential barriers before they stop being potential and become real barriers. Designing your teaching and learning offers an opportunity to do this.

Where potential barriers are found in teaching and assessment, it is good practice to consider solutions at the design phase, so as to be able to avoid hypothetical difficulties becoming real difficulties for any future students.

If found are strategies considered to overcome these barriers?
